On Sunday, November 23, 2009, from 2:00-5:00 pm, local family owned restaurant Piazza Bistro will hold a Community Dinner. The meal will consist of a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner and will be served at no cost to any individual or family who is in need at this time of year.
"As I count my blessings and give thanks, my family and I want to give back to our community. We want to have this be a place where people come and feel warm and taken care of, for the time that they are with us, it will be about making people feel good," says Tom Medeiros Senior, owner of Piazza Bistro.
Meals will be served to anyone who comes in, anyone who is in need of a warm meal from 2:00-5:00 pm as the Medeiros and Twisselman families and staff come to prepare and serve the meals.
